Preloved - one-of-a-kind clothing

We LOVE upcycled clothing - taking old and reclaimed fabrics and making them new again - so magnifeco. One of our alltime favourite pioneers of this is Canadian-based Preloved. Preloved creates one of a kind clothing from reclaimed vintage fabrics. Their passion is design and their philosophy is sustainability. Founder Julia Grieve and Creative Director Peter Friesen have made their mark on fashionable Queen Street West in Toronto and Boulevard St. Laurent in Montreal. The newest store, Handcut by Preloved opened in Sydney, Australia in 2007. And finally they have opened their online boutique! This Aloha Shirt is an asymmetrical top with a romantic ruffled neckline, original button placket closure angled down the side. Made from vintage solid white or blue shirts. $89.00 CAD.

This Jasmin Dress is a structured double-breasted collared dress, made from vintage trench coats. Complete with original pockets and belt. $139.00 CAD.

And they have just launched their kids line: me*me, using the same principles. This Briar Rose skirt is a bustle skirt with elasticized waist made from two vintage cotton shirts, can be worn front-to-back. $17.00 CAD.

These Bubbleyum dresses are A-line, made from reclaimed bed sheets with contrasting empire waistband, bubble hem, and invisible zipper at center back. $39.00 CAD. Preloved garments are entirely crafted from vintage fabrics, making each piece truly one-of-a-kind, therefore, patterns and shades will differ from the images shown.
