Hand-made Thursdays – Branda

Branda, named after their grandmother who taight them how to knit, is the project of  two sisters (Mariana and Paula) from Buenos Aires, Argentina, who make minimalist, subtle,  hand-knit accessories.  Their collection consists of a large variety of colorful scarves complemented with cowls, ponchos, hats, bags, laced cuffs and fingerless gloves. Hand-made with quality yarns such as merino wool, llama yarn, cotton, they also use acrylic for those who are allergic or vegan. This over-sized scarf in black merino wool, will be so great on those bitterly cold days! $150 USD.

Looking for something a little more demure? How about this pale pink merino wool scarf, knit into a pattern of lace leaves. $120 USD.

They also make a collection of lace cuffs - these ones knit with white ivory cotton yarn. $36 USD. Their Etsy-shop ships to Australia, Canada, Europe and the U.S.
