Hand-made Thursdays
Objects fascinate Maria Gil Ulldemolins, especially the stories objects tell and how these stories are told. People’s relationships with objects and their stories are a constant source of inspiration to her. A Visual Arts graduate, she then graduated from Product Design from Central St. Martins and is currently studying Fine Arts in Barcelona. Her Etsy-shop, PaperBling features objects that fascinate us – awesome jewellery made with upcycled paper (mostly from Elle, Elle Decor, Weekend Guardian magazine, Icon). They are totally made of paper scraps, this Chlorine necklace is $25 USD.
Each little piece is cut by hand and plastified with plastic foil (the same type you use for school books) by hand. They are then sewn by hand with invisible thread. This Tropicana necklace is $35 USD. Ships everywhere.

I am in love with these pieces – the bold colors and styles are so striking. The price is ridiculously low for all of the labor involved. These pieces are literally a steal.
