Hand-made Thursdays

reifhaus-eva-tee

Reif is a fashion haus with its hands in the past, mind in the present, and eyes on the future. We believe that as the world around us continues to grow and change, so too must our clothing. Designer Lindsey Reif draws inspiration from the past to create pieces for the future. Her choice of modern and sustainable fabrics molds a look that is both fashion forward and socially progressive. Like this Eva Tee,  with a hybrid raglan-kimono sleeve (basically a draped kimono sleeve without the ugly shoulder seam) with chevron cuff detail. Scoop neck is lower in the back. Sits low on the hips. Fabric: Bamboo Jersey. $75 USD. Shown with the Chevron Skirt, a high-waisted peg skirt with side-seam pockets. $130 USD.

reifhaus-fritz-pullover

This vintage inspired men’s pullover with sweater texture on outside, fleece on the inside. Shawl collar overlaps and fastens with two leather bound buttons with jersey loops. Ribbing at waist, neckline and cuffs (cuffs are cut extra long so they can be rolled up or worn as is). Fabric: Recycled poly fleece. $132 USD. Every Reif garment is handmade in Portland, Oregon and bought through her Etsy shop. Ships everywhere.
